im still awake
now its already the 7th day of 2009
time really flies
looking back at 2008
there were a lot of stuff that had happened
kiddies had officially left the island for their brighter future
and the kid here had been moving ahead as well
to hook up to those that must and had planned to be achieved

and yes i do gain and learnt a lot from that year
but at the same time i had lost too ..
to the very much unexpected i lost to myself ..
and i realize that things may not go as what you had planned
and long-term goals might lead to a loss of motivation in the sense of the goal becomes unachievable while short-term goal enables us to continually experience the sense of achievement as it is achieved progressively
so whatever it is, i will let things take its own course, letting it flows by its nature
but once i had made my decision, i will persist on
perhaps life will be more fulfilled and easier in this way

there are still a great deal for me to learn and grasp
give me another 100 years, perhaps i will never finish learning everything, needless to mention about the 20 years
i believe there is no end to learning
if we do not cultivate a learning attitude, we will be disconnected from the ever-changing and advancing society
thus continuous self-learning and personal development are important to everyone

looking back at the past year
i can say that i've done my best for that very year
lets just put things behind and let bygones be bygones
head on for the future and be a better person
i will continue to strive on and learnt on the mistakes i've done
a new year will lead to a new hope and then .. a new beginning
